ELECTRA SIGNS SPIRIT TO DEVELOP SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

On Thursday April 21, 2005; Electra Gold Ltd. signed a contract agreement with Spirit Unlimited Consulting of Bowen Island, BC.  This agreement provides for the further commitment to and development of infrastructure and policies of Electra Gold Ltd. as a socially responsible and sacred company.  Both Jo Shearer, President and Doug Stelling, CEO of Electra Gold Ltd. are delighted to be making this important step toward becoming a world leader as a socially responsible, sustainable industrial mineral mining company with an expanded socially responsible investor (SRI) shareholder base.”

Ellen Hayakawa (BSc. Dipl. Bus. Admin.), President of Spirit Unlimited Consulting is a well known consultant, speaker, coach and author of The Inspired Organization:  Spirituality and Energy at Work . She is a wildlife biologist and worked with the Canadian Wildlife Service for over a decade and has addressed conferences such as The Symposium on Ecological Risk Assessment and Business for Life in Scotland.  She was a founding Board member of The Natural Step (TNS) in Canada and was the founder of The 2001 Summit on Spirituality and Sustainability. She was an initiator of the Conference on Ethical and Spiritual Values and the Promotion of Environmentally Sustainable Development held at the World Bank and was on the Steering Committee of the Spirituality and Sustainable Development Conference held by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).  She has worked extensively as a consultant and trainer with executives and employees in both the public and private sectors on the development of inspired leadership based on spirituality, social responsibility and sustainability in the workplace.
