ROAD TO NEW QUARRY COMPLETED AND MAJOR ASSAYS RESULTS
Electra is pleased to announce that the WN820 Road has been completed (refer to News Release October 30, 2007) as part of a concerted effort to expand the resource beyond the currently producing PEM 100 Quarry.
Trenching of the upland geyserite zone has been initiated along a minimum strike length of 400 meters. This strike length is in addition to the area bulk sampled in 1968.
An inspection of the road was recently undertaken with representatives of the Quatsino First Nation and Western Forest Products. Forest Harvesting logging will take place in the future from the Electra road which will benefit the Quatsino community and fulfill obligations in management of their Woodlot 74.
A visual inspection suggests that the upland geyserite zone is at least 400 meters in length and a width of 80 meters. Trenching and drilling will further define the zone.
Samples have been collected and will be assayed at a well known Cement Manufacturer situated in Metro Vancouver.
Electra intends to move quickly to meet potential future demand from new customers for cement raw materials.
More information will be released as it becomes available.
